- Indoor Antennae
- Outdoor Antenna
- Coaxial Cable
- Mounting kit
- Power Supply Adaptor/s
Repeater Units
The SB series repeater units are band-selective, so are highly attuned to the specific frequencies used by mobile network providers. This allows them to amplify signals to a level previously thought unattainable for many locations.
The SB900 serves the frequency range usually used by Vodaphone, and O2*, whilst the SB1800 models serve the frequency range used by Virgin, Tmobile, and Orange, however you must speak with your network provider to determine which frequency they use in your area, and which SB series model will be appropriate for you.
If you wish to boost reception for all networks, two or more receivers may be required. If however you wish to boost only one frequency range – for example that used by your chosen provider of employee mobiles, you will only require the appropriate unit.
The SB range of repeater units can be discretely wall or ceiling mounted, and can also be sited in concealed areas, for minimal visual impact.
Splitters
2-way, 3-way, and 4 way splitters are available to connect the SB series repeater units to a maximum of eight Indoor Antennae.
Indoor Antennae
Several indoor antennae can be utilised to tailor the SB series system to your requirements.
The Panel antenna is a directional antenna that will boost signals in front of it, in a manner similar to a flashlight emitting a focussed beam of light. The Panel antenna can extend mobile network coverage within a space 6m in width and height and up to 20m from the front of the antenna, providing there are no barriers, and should be placed on a wall at the far end of the area it must cover.
The Dome antenna is an omni directional antenna that will boost signals in all directions, much as a light bulb emits light. Each dome antenna can extend mobile network coverage within approximately 1000 square metres, providing there are no barriers. The Dome antenna should be mounted on the ceiling of the space it must cover. The omni-directional dome antenna can extend coverage to two floors, providing the floor structure to which it is mounted does not contain materials detrimental to mobile signals. <image/graphic req>
Outdoor Antennae
Depending on your location*, one of several MobDev Outdoor Antennae can be used to pick up outdoors mobile network signals, which are then routed indoors and boosted by the SB series repeater unit, before being broadcast by the indoor antennae.
The LPDA (Long Periodic Dipole Array) outdoor antenna is a narrow beam, ultra sensitive, directional antennae that needs careful orientation*. This is our most sensitive aerial, and is suitable for use where there is either one mobile base station mast in the vicinity*, one closest, and/or providing a stronger signal. If there is a signal strong enough to allow for boosting – the LDPA is sure to pick it up!
The Omni-directional outdoor stick antenna does not require positioning relative to your nearest mobile base station mast, as with directional antennae. This robust antenna is sensitive enough to pick up what other Omni-directional models may miss, and can make the most of signals from a point located between several weak sources. This can particularly suit installations where there are several distant, or partially occluded, mobile base station masts in the vicinity*.
*See www.sitefinder.ofcom.org.uk (UK) to check the location of mobile base station masts in your vicinity.
Usage:
The SB Series system is suitable for use throughout the EU.
