This is our standard external aerial. For area with good outdoor signal strength you will need the standard Omni directional antenna which does not need to be pointed at the local mast as it receives and broadcasts the signal in all directions. If you our in doubt about your signal strength we would recommend upgrading to the Yagi aerial as this will provide the strongest possible signal.
Yagi External Directional Antenna
If you live in an area with low signal strength outdoors then an external directional antenna are crucial to providing significant signal strength gain. This is because the antenna can be oriented and located outside to provide the best possible signal, usually aligned with the nearest mobile phone mast. This provides a much better signal in areas with poor external signal strength. The antenna can be mounted on a pole for better line of site to the mobile phone mast. You will can find the location of your nearest mast here.
This is the TG900P kit we advise for large domestic properties. If the wall panels are fitted whereby the feed cable run up or down within the walls, then the finished job looks very neat indeed
This kit comes with a Yagi aerial upgrade, for when the signal outside is very weak or totally absent, changing the stick antennae for the Yagi antennae can create a signal that will put a smile upon the faces of the building's inhabitants.
The number of internal antennae can be increased but it is important for MobDev to see the building's plans before offering advice.
