This is the TG900P kit we advise for large domestic properties. If the wall panels are fitted whereby the feed cable run up or down within the walls, then the finished job looks very neat indeed.

The number of internal antennae can be increased but it is important for MobDev to see the building's plans before offering advice.

Network-GSM 900 Networks. In the UK, Vodafone and O2 use GSM 900.

The TG900PS kit is very suitable for larger houses and buildings where the TX kits don't have quite enough power or versatility over which areas of the building truly need mobile connectivity. This is the most widely used and what might be termed the standard TG Pack

The kit is supplied with two internal panel antennae but this can be increased to as many as six repeaters. Two are usually enough for quite a large building. This kit tends to be used when there is a mobile signal strength of at least two bars outside the house on three sides but very little or no signal inside the building

Picture enclosed which shows how the TG900PS kit with two internal panels fits together.

The elements in the picture are as follows. On the left is the stick antenna, which is multi directional and just wants mounting relatively high and well unobstructed. Supplied are three fifteen meter cables and one five meter cables. The TG processor unit is blue and is at the bottom of the picture. The Stick antennae is coupled to this with a five meter cable in this picture but in the real world it may be better to use a fifteen meter cable to connect the aerial and the five meter cable to join the main processor to the junction box. The aforementioned junction box is the grey rectangular box with one connection in and two connectors going out. These have a pair of fifteen meter cables connecting to the two panel antennas.

One point to note is that two adaptors are supplied and which are used to connect the short white cables from the panels to the end of the black fifteen meter cables.

In a three story house the fitting of one of these panels on the ground floor and another on the second floor will usually result in a good signal on all three floors.

Most customers for these more complex kits will use their favorite electrician to install the system. This means that the wiring is kept very tidy. The main TG processor and the junction box are usually situated in the attic. The Stick aerial antennae is plugged into The TG processor where it is marked BTS. This is the end where the on/off switch is located together with the indicator light. The cable leading to the junction box plugs into the main processor unit at the port marked MS

Ideally try to arrange things so that the TG unit is placed just inside an attic hatch with the external aerial socket facing you. This means that when everything is working smoothly and communication suddenly fails, it is easy to check whether the unit is switched on. The only time that this has happened to me is when a fuse had blown due to the same circuit being overloaded by the use of some major power tools.

If your technician has any problems, then call us on 01935 891046 and we will talk them through it. Do bear in mind that all mobile phone users in the building need to be using the same group of providers so as to achieve total connectivity for everyone.
